The Barn is an attractive barn conversion on the owners' land, in a rural location six miles from Builth Wells. The cottage sleeps six people and has a double with en-suite upstairs, and a further double, adult bunks and bathroom on the ground floor. The ground floor also offers a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room, while upstairs is a mezzanine with a low double divan bed, and a reading room leading to a balcony with steps down to the garden. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a dedicated garden area with stream, pond and furniture. The Barn has walks from the door, and is a wonderful base for the Mid Wales countryside.
Accommodation
Oil central heating. Electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV for DVD/video only, WiFi, selection of books, DVDs, games and toys. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Extensive private lawn area with small stream and pond, furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome (must be kept under control when outside the property). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2.5 miles. Note: Property is accessed by a long steep farm track, care needed with low-clearance vehicles. Note: Unfenced pond and stream, children and pets to be supervised. Note: No TV reception, WiFi throughout. |
